Conquered Mt Kinabalu
My mom and aunt were surprised, worried and hesitated when I told them I want join the climb. They knew that I’m not an active and tough kinda person. I don’t get myself involved in outdoor activities. But, Mt Kinabalu is different case! Hahahaha..
Without fully prepared, no exercise, no nothing, in fact I just came back from Labuan few days before the climb, yet my strong determination had pushed me to continue my journey no matter how hard it is. Only 3 out of 10 of us managed to be there, the summit of Mt Kinabalu.
I came down and went home dengan bangganya! Semua tidak picaya! But, I made it and I made it again the following year! 3rd time?? Hmmm…
Convocation in 2002
Not only myself, but I know my mom too! She was soo excited that she spent RM200++ for her attire to be worn during my convocation. She also ‘upgraded’ her dentures which she did it at the private clinic. Cost her RM1k++ for two sets dentures. I know it’s a big amount to her. Yet dia tutup mata saja! She really, really wants to look great on my convocation day. Love you mommy!
Completed BC treatments
It was not easy but I made it! Life goes on... in fact, it’s like 2nd life-chance to me that I wanna use it to the fullest. I began see things differently. I began appreciate things more.
To all CA patients especially to CathJ and another colleague of mine who has diagnosed with BC and undergone mastectomy on last Thursday, stay strong, stay positive, believe in God, keep on fighting.. take care.. *hugs*
